Oertli Surgical Plattforms

In cataract surgery, Oertli's three surgical platforms unleash their full power. The unique easyPhaco technology was developed for safe and efficient emulsification. Because with easyPhaco, the fluidics are based on the laws of physics.

OS 4

The OS 4 surgical platform utilises the laws of physics with the aim of making ophthalmic surgery even safer, easier and more efficient. The heart of the platform is the 3-pump system with vacuum and flow control and the innovative SPEEP pump, which can control flow and vacuum simultaneously.  The Power LED technology with its double light source provides homogeneous illumination and high-resolution contrast viewing. The pneumatically driven Continous Flow Cutter supports low-traction work in the periphery and the fully integrated 532 nm endo laser provides reliable eye protection during treatment.

Faros

The compact Faros is optionally available as a device for the anterior segment or as a combined system for both the anterior and posterior segments. The unique SPEEP pump provides control over both vacuum and flow. The easyPhaco technology was developed for safe and efficient phacoemulsification. In countless cases, the HF capsulotomy tip is the ideal method for simple capsulorhexis. The pneumatically driven Continuous Flow Cutter was developed for low-traction work in the periphery and the Power LED light source features state-of-the-art technology. The Faros also includes an integrated HFDS application for glaucoma surgery if required.

CataRhex 3

The CataRhex 3 surgical platform from Oertli proves that great things sometimes come in small packages. With unbeatably compact dimensions and a lightweight at just five kilograms, the phaco device CataRhex 3 is systematically focused on mobility and portability – without compromising on performance. With the new SPEEP pump and the familiar easyPhaco technology, we have developed an effective tool for simple, safe and efficient work in routine surgery. The capsulotomy tip is used to open the capsular bag using high-frequency diathermy. There is an integrated compressor for anterior vitrectomy, and the HFDS application ensures promising long-term results for glaucoma surgery1.
